Service and support are central to Abacus Business Systems.

Our service engineers have over 50 years experience in repairing Cash Registers, EPOS Systems, Printers, Cables and connectors.

 Abacus prides itself on repairing or providing support for any make or model of cash register or EPOS system.

Abacus repair and service Cash Registers, provide free 24/7 telephone support, are available for emergency call-outs and provide free loan machine if your machine goes out of action.

CALL-OUTS

Our experienced engineers are available for on-site repairs, servicing, programming and training. Each engineer carries with them a specialised toolbox for repairs and a specialised laptop for programming. We will also provide you with the mobile number for your support engineers should you need any further aftercare support.

Abacus engineers are available for standard rate call outs from Monday-Friday, between the hours of 9 and 5:30pm

Should you book an urgent call-out, we will endeavour to reach you within four office hours. Out of hours we provide an Emergency Call-Out service. Find out more…

REPAIRS

Our workshop boasts specialised testing equipment and stockrooms with spare parts for all makes and models of cash registers.

And of course, we can provide complementary loan machines to keep your business running smoothly while your machine is in our workshop.

We will also pick up and drop of your machine and provide you with fresh rolls and ink.

We can provide estimates for repairs.

If we can't repair your machine we will write off any workshop labour if you purchase a replacement till from Abacus.

SERVICING

We recommend that you service your cash register at least once a year. Most common cash register faults will be prevented with regular servicing and the lifespan of your machine will be extended.

EPOS systems often require less frequent servicing although we recommend you service your EPOS system every two years.

We can provide loan machines while your machine is in our workshop or can provide on-site serving on most occasions.

TELEPHONE SUPPORT

We provide telephone support so that you can speak directly to our engineers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Each of our Engineers is able to deal with all queries and many common faults can be resolved over the phone and free of charge.

Abacus Engineers will provide telephone support for any make or model of Cash Register or EPOS System.

If we can't fix your problem free of charge over the phone, our engineers are

Our emergency call out charge is £70
